George N. Mihalios, Esq. received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (B.A.) from Hofstra University and received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the City University of New York School of Law. While attending Law School, Mr. Mihalios interned at the New York City Council Department of Oversight and Investigations and the New York City Council Department of Finance. In 1997, Mr. Mihalios was admitted to the New York State Bar and hired as an Associate Attorney for Slochowsky & Slochowsky, Esqs., handling over 3,000 Landlord eviction proceedings in Brooklyn Housing Court. In 1999, Mr. Mihalios was hired by Coritsidis & Lambros, Esqs., a boutique law firm in Manhattan, where he handled all forms of Real Estate and Commercial Litigation matters for private individuals, investors, and corporations. In 2000, George N. Mihalios established his own private practice where he has been engaged in the practice of all forms of Real Estate transactions, Real Estate litigation, Wills, Trusts and Estates, Estate Administration, Landlord/Tenant, Construction Law, Business formation and transactions, Land Use litigation, and Cooperative and Condominium Board representation.
Over the past 25 years, Mr. Mihalios has successfully argued numerous cases at the City and State level in the areas Landlord/Tenant Litigation, Estate litigation, Real Estate Litigation; has assisted individuals and corporations in the Sale and Purchase of single-family homes, Condominiums, Cooperatives, Multi-family Apartment buildings, Warehouses and Hotels; has represented families and individuals in the Administration of Estates; and has represented individuals and families in creating all types of Estate planning documents such as Wills, Irrevocable/Revocable Trusts, Special needs Trusts, Medicaid planning and Guardianships.
